Green Apple Solutions Pvt Ltd operates ST: Product & Collection Sort “the App”. ST: Product & Collection Sort "the App” provides merchandising capabilities on collection pages "the Service" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.


We recognize the importance of privacy to our customers and we strive to safeguard any personal information we receive and may need to use in support of our customers.


Personal Information the App Collects


When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account and store some personally identifiable data to serve you including information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, store name, store domain, store country, and billing information, etc. Additionally, we use Shopify APIs to collect and process products data, inventory data, collections data and order related information and store analytics once you install the App to determine best-selling products for the sole purpose of providing our Service.


Please note that:

  • We only process the minimum personal data required to provide our services. We limit the use of personal data to the said purpose only.
  • We do not process any of your Customer data, such as name, address, phone, and email fields.


Along with this, when you visit our website or use the app, we collect certain technical information such as pages visited, buttons clicked, device type, browser type and version, operating system, date and time you access the Service, the links you accessed, screen resolution, language, country. This information is used for system administration purposes such as diagnosing problems with our Services, servers and websites, compiling aggregated and statistical information, and to improve the operation and content of our websites and Services. Some of this information is not personally identifiable, and is not considered Personal Data and subject to this Privacy Policy Agreement.


We also collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:

  • "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
  • "Third party" tracking services and softwares

Lastly, we may also collect and use aggregated, anonymous information to provide data about the Services to advertisers, potential business partners and other unaffiliated entities. As this information does not identify a person, and is therefore not Personal Data, our use of such aggregated, anonymized and/or de-identified data is not subject to this Privacy Policy Agreement.


Consent & Collection of Personal Data


By using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of your Personal Data for processing as described in, and subject to the limitations set out in, this Privacy Policy Agreement.


How Do We Use Your Personal Information?


We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App in order to perform our contractual obligations to you. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Send service related emails, Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.


You can opt out of receiving certain promotional or marketing communications from us at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link in the emails communications we send or by contacting us at merchandising@searchtap.io.


Sharing Your Personal Information


Finally, we may also share your Personal Information with trusted third-party advertising platforms and also to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.


Behavioural Advertising - As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Limited use policy for access to data via Google OAuth API

Our Services may use certain read-only Google OAuth API Scopes (the "Sensitive Scopes") as part of our Service.

Our app complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.


Limited Use:

  1. We only use this data to provide and improve merchandising features that are available as a part of our application’s user interface;
  2. We will never transfer any data except:
    1. To provide or improve features that are visible and prominent in our app’s user interface and only with your consent;
    2. For security purposes (for example, investigating abuse);
    3. To comply with applicable laws; or,
    4. As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets of our organisation after obtaining explicit prior consent from you
  3. We shall not allow humans to read the data unless:
    1. We have first obtained your affirmative agreement to view specific messages, files, or other data, with the limited exception of use cases approved by Google under additional terms applicable to the Nest Device Access program;
    2. It is necessary for security purposes (for example, investigating a bug or abuse);
    3. It is necessary to comply with applicable law; or
    4. The data (including derivations) is aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable privacy and other jurisdictional legal requirements.

All other transfers, uses, or sales of user data obtained from Google are prohibited, including:

  1. Transferring or selling user data to third parties like advertising platforms, data brokers, or any information resellers.
  2. Transferring, selling, or using user data for serving ads, including retargeting, personalized or interest-based advertising.
  3. Transferring, selling, or using user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.

We ensure that our employees, agents, contractors, and successors comply with this Google API Services User Data Policy.

We access Google API Services in accordance with the Google APIs Terms of Service.

Our Services may contain links to other websites, apps, or services, including those of advertisers or third party content providers who offer downloads as part of our Service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other websites, apps, or services. We encourage you to read the privacy policies published by such third parties before divulging your Personal Data to them.


Your Rights


If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.


Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you install and use “the App” and our services), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.


Data Encryption


We encrypt data as it transits through various networks to try and prevent bad actors from gaining access to it even if they have access to the application.


Data Retention


When you place an order with us, install our app or contact us, we will maintain your personal information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. We delete all product data, inventory data, collections data and order-related information and store analytics from our records in 30 days once you uninstall our app.


Changes


We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
